The Lifeguard

I took this image at Woodbine Beach one evening in July. The Lifeguards were getting ready to finish their shift for the day. Before that happened I spotted this lifeguard standing in his tower against a featureless sky. I knew the clear lines of the towers and the presence of a human subject would make for a compelling image.
